*RTB* Styling for the House Of Jaz Photoshoot!

I have made the decision that photoshoots need to be a part of my daily life! Not as the subject (I’m kinda camera shy), but as a stylist! Last week I was lucky enough to be a part of a photoshoot my good friend Jaz of HouseofJaz.com was conducting for an up and coming venture, and asked me if I could help out with the styling portion. Empress, a dope emcee who happens to be amazing behind the camera, took care of photography and the aesthetics. We had so much fun! Check out the pics below!

Blog Lovin’: Karen of Where Did You Get That

I am a frequent reader of the British native fashionista Karen from WhereDidYouGetThat.com.  Below I have compiled some of my favorite jewelry pieces from her looks that she posted the past week or so. If you love vintage you will definitely love her blog. Check her out!

In her “My Stuff” post she took pictures of her accessories closet and man…. I wish I could shop with her.  She has impeccable taste!  She has a variety of thrift, vintage, and street vendor collections of jewelry worth drooling over.  Some of my favorite pieces are the elephant head necklace, the variety of studded bracelets, and the brass tribal necklace.  I recognized the nOir Brain Ring in pink in the right bottom corner.  They no longer sell that on their site 😦

The silver Crucifix double finger ring is from Forever21 according to her Forever21 Cross Give Away Post which is currently sold out.

I recently blogged about the up and coming designer of Armor Jewelry, and of course Karen has already jumped on that wagon lol. Love how she rocked her Ume piece, which goes for $230, with a strapless HM maxi dress.

This is a re post about the jewelry head piece Dame. She is wearing the Athena piece which goes for $110.

Last, but not least, is the netted hand chain Karen got from HM. I have to visit the HM in New York because I have never seen this, and some of her other finds, at any HM in Philly, DC, or VA!

Chanel Iman…FAB-O!!!

Chanel Iman at the premier of “The September Issue” (Cannot WAIT to see that!!!). The necklace is just FAB-O, incorporating the disc and fringe trend of this season. I also love how she effortlessly mixed gold and silver elements, which is hard for some to pull off.
