Karen of WhereDidUGetThat.Com

My new obsession is shopping online!!! I love running into these awesome  jewelry sites selling body adornments- a new trend I haven’t seen enough fashionistas rocking.   I ran across  Damesf.com while browsing through a newly discovered blog called “Where Did U Get That”; written by a uniquely stylish London beauty named Karen.  I stumbled upon her post “Heady”  and fell in love with her head adornment from Dame. I clicked on the link and to my gratification Dame has an eclectic collection of  various head and body embellishments.  Their use of chains to drape the shoulders, arms, and back are will satisfy both the boho chic and punk girl within you.  I wanted everything I saw! Check out some of my favs below!

Jean Paul Gaultier's S/S 2010 Haute Couture Collection's Accessories

Definetly one of my favs of the S/S 2010 Couture Runways was Jean Paul Gautier! There was a serious “urban warrior” vibe going on here, and my chrystal ball is forecasting that shoulder jewelry is gonna blow up this season! Also, watch out for slave bracelets! These are bracelets that connect from the wrist to the fingers via chains (check them out in the image gallery below). Stacked bangles were also in full effect!

I couldn’t help but think the Jean Paul crew got some of their inspiration for this collection from Mel Gibson’s movie Apocalypto, particularly from the scene where the captures are going through the city. I see a lot of jade and beads. Compare the pics below!

Do you see the similarity? Loves it! Check out the gallery for more!
